Welcome to The Heights, where progress knows no bounds. In June 2022, the City of Saint Paul approved the Master Plan, setting the stage for a significant redevelopment project that will bring 1,000 new housing units and 1,000 living wage jobs to Saint Paul’s Greater Eastside.

Timeline of Transformation

The Saint Paul Port Authority is fully committed to bringing the Master Plan to life. The first step was completing soil remediation in 2023, setting the stage for earthwork to begin in the spring of 2024.

Moving forward, we expect to break ground on the first light industrial building in the first half of 2024. The first housing unit should follow suit in the second half of the year. Infrastructure and site preparation should wrap up in 2025, and the entire project should be complete between 2026 and 2030.
