Limited English Proficiency Plan
The Saint Paul Port Authority has implemented a Limited English Proficiency (“LEP”) Plan to ensure that individuals with limited English proficiency have equal access to it’s programs, activities, and services. In compliance with federal regulations, SPPA will make reasonable efforts to provide or arrange language assistance for LEP clients who require such support. The goal of this plan is to provide meaningful access to SPPA’s offerings and promote inclusivity within the community.

Access to Data Policy
According to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 13, all government data is presumed public unless specifically classified as private or confidential under state or federal law. The Government Data Act mandates that the Saint Paul Port Authority maintain public data in an easily accessible manner to ensure transparency and promote ease of access for the public.

SPPA Discrimination Complaints Process
If an individual believes they have experienced discrimination based on race, color, national origin (including language), disability, age, sex, or religion, they have the right to file a complaint. This ensures that any potential unjust treatment based on these factors can be addressed and investigated to protect the rights of all individuals.
