Head Teller

Hiway is looking for a Head Teller who will have the opportunity to get involved with a variety of projects and work with a great group of people. This person will help lead the Teller Team and assist in creating positive environment and delivering exceptional member service.

The Day to Day Job:

• Manage, coach, and mentor a team of tellers to successfully achieve goals and objectives
• Create environment and train team to deliver top-notch service
• Develop and implement strategies to manage cash flow and Fed shipments
• Verify accuracy of teller transactions and monitor fraud
• Maintain regular communication with other departments within credit union
• Keep up to date on industry trends by attending professional events and/or training opportunities

• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
• Well organized, efficient, detail-oriented and able to work independently and on a team
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet changing demands of department
• Knowledge of XP2 a plus
