We are honored to be the recipient of Environmental Finance’s 2023 Sustainability Project Bond Award of the Year. These accolades put a spotlight on work we did in 2022, selling $15.9 million in municipal sustainability bonds to fund the much-needed Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) project.

Judges praised both the Saint Paul Port Authority and City of Saint Paul for our focus on invasive species, especially the emerald ash borer, which has taken a heavy toll on the landscape covering much of the eastern half of this country. The award also represents an important recognition of the Port Authority’s ongoing commitment to sustainable and equitable development.
